Learn from the past…
Prepare for the future.
The Battle of Gettysburg was the largest battle ever fought on the North American continent. This workshop begins with an overview of the battle, providing the historic background essential to understanding strategic leadership decisions that were made by both the North and South, setting the stage for this iconic event. Following this overview, participants will spend a day on the actual battlefield with a leadership facilitator and Gettysburg historian. You will be introduced to and asked to examine three essential keys to leadership – adapt, innovate, overcome. Our day on the Gettysburg Battlefield will illustrate these concepts clearly and how they can apply the lessons from Gettysburg to your own growth as leaders. The workshop concludes at the cemetery where Lincoln delivered the famed Gettysburg Address, followed by a group discussion that evening to highlight the leadership lessons learned on the battlefield.
